Review by Hawk Chavez
It has been stereotyped that the music scene in Greece is generally Grecian Folklore, until you listen to bands such as Infidel; a powerful diverse band proving there can be more than your typical folklore.
While the entire album is a true gem in the making, subtract a few flaws, the perfect diamond of a song is “Circle Of Shame” with incredible workmanship. Poussious’s vocals come through clear, with heavy hearted drums from Giakoumakis, Kostoupoulos’s deep gritty guitars, and notable efforts from bassist Vangelis Yalamas.
“Echoes In Vain” is one of those songs that is so powerful it could be an anthem. Such deep meaning and invigorating vocals that comes from within, the song comes to life at first note. Kostopoulos’s guitars and Giakoumakis’s drums are relentless and all out powerful.
